• Tournament performance rating (TPR) calculations

• Time control calculations
• Rating system conversions

All calculations are performed client-side in your browser for privacy and security.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the Service during competitive chess games or tournaments
• Use the Service to gain unfair advantage in online chess platforms
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service to transmit viruses or malicious code
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

4. Educational Use Only

We do not condone or support the use of our Service for cheating or gaining unfair advantages in competitive chess.

Chess rules and rating systems are governed by their respective organizations (FIDE, USCF, etc.) and we make no claim to these systems.

• Accuracy of calculations
• Fitness for a particular purpose

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

While we strive for accuracy, official ratings should always be verified with the appropriate chess organization.

7. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL CHESS CALCULATOR, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Incorrect rating calculations
• Penalties from chess organizations due to misuse of the Service
